Don’t overlook one if interesting upcoming Iovance catalysts…SITC Abstract #346, evaluating long-term overall survival with lifileucel versus standard-of-care treatments in real-world patients with anti-PD-1-resistant advanced melanoma.

Release: Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. PT (9:00 a.m. ET).

The potential significance is substantial: earlier reporting on this real-world comparison suggested lifileucel could approximately double four-year survival rates versus standard care.

If the full abstract reinforces those findings, it could strengthen the argument that lifileucel offers something beyond short-term tumor response: a meaningful possibility of long-term survival for patients who have exhausted other treatments

One reason I’m not swayed by this week on Iovance is that the opportunity may be much bigger than any single clinical trial or cancer indication.

What stood out to me in the Fox News segment was independent physicians describing TIL therapy as a potentially fundamental shift in how cancer is treated. This is bigger than one company’s marketing message. It’s a broader movement toward personalized cellular immunotherapy.

Iovance already has an FDA-approved TIL treatment, commercial manufacturing capabilities and a head start in this emerging field.

There’s also an important financial consideration: a savvy CFO could use the ATM offering strategically during periods of share-price strength, potentially raising substantial capital at prices around $14 rather than issuing shares at today’s depressed levels. That capital could help fund expansion, clinical development and the path to profitability while limiting dilution.

One potential longer-term tailwind for Iovance that deserves investor attention is California’s proposed $8.4 billion Proposition 38 bond measure. It includes $4.2 billion for a UCLA-affiliated immunology and immunotherapy research institute and another $4.2 billion for competitive research grants.

While Iovance would not qualify for direct grants as a for-profit company, the funding could create opportunities for academic partnerships, TIL research, clinical trial infrastructure and collaboration with commercial cell-therapy developers.

Given Iovance’s existing California clinical trial footprint and its leadership in tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy, the scientific alignment is particularly interesting.

Iova could and should release a statement from their CMO Monday offering clarity on lung.

What if the new CMO came into Iovance, reviewed the lung cancer program, and concluded that the existing strategy wasn't going to produce the results management needed?

Another 10% today after ER it be penny stock. This stock run on hope with cancer drugs doing well. Then it run up to 17$ but when reality hit on botch results it became sinking ship.
