@Kenny, thanks for sharing about REITs having to pay dividends. I didn't know there was such a rule. However, they can choose to give 1 dividend for the year, and for 3 quarters, doesn't pay any dividend, or is it mandatory to pay dividends every quarter?
My opinion is that UNIT is oversold, from $5.80 to $3.80 when an announcement that dividend will be suspended was released. $2 is like 13x $0.15 which means 3 years of dividend. However, they mentioned that they will resume dividend in future, I’m looking at end 2025 they should be profitable and resuming dividend. Overall still considered a good buy when below $3.50. I’m expecting it to reach $5 or $6 by 2026
UNTC and UNIT are 2 different company
Uniti is to merge with Windstream and in short, will fund about 400+ million in this merger. When large amount of company fund is being used, naturally will bring fear of whether the company is at risk of a bad investment or will they lack financial reserve in a downturn and therefore the stock price free fall like a skydiver. However, if they can prove that this merger is benefitial and earning money, the stock price may sky rocket through the roof in future. Just hang on guys, i believe the stock price of UNIT is worth about $4.80 to $10 in this 1 year span. Just hold on, buy low and collect your 15 cents dividend every quarter for now until good news surface.
Any one knows we still get the .15 dividend in June and will that be the last dividend
Bumass rodrigo where are you $UNIT
