I do my share of research and due diligence on the stock though. I would expect good news from the FDA minutes, what exactly? I don't have an answer for that.

The fact that the FDA has authorized a 9 month trial instead of 12-18 months or more is good news in itself. The biggest question right now is how many patients will be required, and what are the end points the FDA is looking for. Take into account that CGTX is currently running the START study (545 participants, 18 months) this will read out mid 2027 which is a HUGE catalyst. There is some speculation out there that the FDA could use this data to grant a BTD or NDA for Z for Alz with low p-tau...... Will that happen? I don't have an answer for that as well.

What I do know is the NIH/NIA provided an immense sum of grant money to this company for this drug, I believe CGTX received their second largest donation in history, so I would think they saw something that was pretty lucrative in order to dish out north of 100 million dollars over the years.

I would say that the START study also shows this company is competent, and confident enough to run a large trial and run it successfully. I have 0 concerns or fears over that matter, my biggest concern at the moment is for some reason they are required to run a massive patient base (It is very unlikely) for this phase 3 DLB-Psychosis trial. If we get FDA minutes that say a 500 or less participant requirement then (I am assuming 2-300 personally) then sell the house, cash in the kids college funds, and start eating ramen until the read out/phase 3 begins. (The last part of this is a joke, but things will get very exciting).

With all of that said funding is where everyone currently sits on the fence. Shorts are betting this company doesn't/can't fund this trial without a partnership, buyout, reverse split etc. I however think there will be a partnership/buyout CEO/Lisa has a background for packaging companies for these situations (she worked for Pfizer) and is good at what she does. There is a chance this company tries to run this on their own, unlikely, but always a chance if they get the appropriate funding then by all means I hope they do it.

End of the day this is my .02 cents take it or leave it, but my confidence in the company has not changed, the timeline has grown a little over the last couple years, but the science is still the same. The drug works.
