$TRUG Lawsuits are definitely coming. Can’t say they have no need for new capital and tout financial stability in an earnings call and then turn around a file a massive shelf offering the very next day. Deception at its very best. That was suicidal by management. Left themselves very exposed. I see no way that this doesn’t continue to get crushed.
$TRUG management is dumb. Why did they have to submit the shelf offering immediately after earnings? Especially when they stated they had sufficient capital on hand. They had to know that the offering would tank all the share price gains and investor goodwill and momentum that their earnings results gave them. Why wouldn’t they wait until a later point when they needed the cash? I see no benefit to them issuing the shelf right after earnings. If earnings were bad and the stock was tanking anyway then sure it makes sense to get all the bad news out of the way all at once. But earnings were good. Now there is a permanent dilution overhang on the stock that will remain until the shelf is used. Doesn’t matter if you have a decent product if the management team is that clueless.
$TRUG Stupid move by management. Why would you issue a shelf offering immediately after good earnings? Stock had upwards momentum and they killed it immediately. All the new investors they attracted with the earnings run they just lost and those investors will never return. If you don’t need immediate cash, which based on the earnings they didn’t appear it require it, why would you destroy your own stock value. Incredibly dumb.
