he CFO was explicit with TD Cowen:

That is management telling you the December-quarter buyback has to be larger than.

September's $2.273 billion.

Read the transcript that was amazing that he said that.

The CFO was explicit with TD Cowen: the company returned 33% of
operating cash flow through June, 40% cumulative through September, 45% in the third quarter alone — and it must be above 50% in the fourth quarter to hit the full-year commitment. He said "we believe
that's very doable." That is management telling you the December-quarter buyback has to be larger than.
September's $2.273 billion.

Read the transcript that was amazing that he said that.

All oil stocks are overbought. I do agree with that fact. However, this administration has no peace talks planned with the Iranian government. The futures are up for September. No talking, the war continues.

Therefore, whether we like it or not, the market must price that in.! At some point, they're gonna price in three-digit oil again—no reason for it to retreat.

Tomorrow, August 20..

(The Crude Oil futures for September) will be out if prices stay the same I will be absolutely stunned.

But the way it’s going now we know for sure that the administration is not negotiating at all.! He said that, so, in my opinion, they have to price that in, and it’s going to be high, I believe.$

The TOP advisor to RIGC is saying very loud and very clear that it’s not opening.!

Now keep in mind the new Ayatollah that’s in power has not said anything yet he and he alone will have the absolutely last word but for now it’s close.

Very long lag time from tankers, leaving the Straits to Asia 45 days till their destination in early August.

They should be bone dry by then.

In the news today:

More than 20 oil tankers carrying about 35 million barrels of crude have passed through the Strait of Hormuz since the U.S. and Iran reached an agreement to reopen the key shipping route, according to trade-tracking firm Kpler.
The non-Iranian vessels had been stranded in the Persian Gulf for more than three months after Tehran effectively shut the waterway early in the conflict. Most are expected to arrive at destinations in Asia by early August.
