The combination I like most is TRUFORMA’s 77% growth + PulseVet’s recurring consumables growth. That’s much more meaningful than simply seeing more retail investors talking about ZOMDF.

And there’s a potentially important catalyst coming August 28, when Zomedica is scheduled to discuss its international distributor network and expansion across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas.

Charles Doheny DIS 2 months ago #2

Yes. I dug into Zomedica’s latest Q2 2026 numbers, and there is a pretty clear winner.

🥇 Fastest-selling/growing ZOMDF products

  1. TRUFORMA diagnostics — fastest growth
  • Diagnostics revenue: $1.4 million in Q2
  • Up 77% year over year
  • Six-month diagnostics revenue: $2.4 million, up 75%
  • Growth is being driven by greater TRUFORMA adoption and increased assay utilization.

This is the product line I’d watch most closely because the TRUFORMA analyzer can generate recurring revenue from diagnostic cartridges/assays after installation.

And the new Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Canada collaboration could accelerate that installed base by placing TRUFORMA analyzers with participating equine veterinary practices.

🥈 PulseVet — biggest revenue producer

PulseVet isn’t growing as rapidly percentage-wise, but it’s producing much more revenue.

Zomedica’s Therapeutic Devices segment, which includes PulseVet and Assisi, generated approximately $6.8 million in Q2, up about 9%.

The particularly interesting part is the PulseVet trodes/consumables:

  • $6.6 million Q2 revenue
  • +26% year over year
  • $12.1 million for the first six months
  • +24% year over year
  • Driven by both new installations and repeat orders.

That recurring reorder business is a very good sign for ZOMDF.

🥉 Assisi

Assisi remains an important therapeutic product line, but Zomedica does not disclose enough product-level revenue for me to honestly say that Assisi is selling faster than PulseVet or TRUFORMA.

🚨 The number I’d focus on

The strongest part of the story isn’t simply that Zomedica is selling more machines.

It’s this:

$6.6M in recurring consumables revenue + 26% growth.

That means the installed equipment is generating repeat purchases. Zomedica specifically says it expects this recurring revenue stream to continue growing as more devices are installed.

And overall Q2 revenue reached a record $9.5 million, up 37%, while the net loss fell 49% to $3.8 million.

🔥 My ZOMDF ranking right now

Charles Doheny DIS 2 months ago #3

Yes — there are real signs that ZOMDF is gaining traction, but I would separate “more investors are interested” from “pet shops are buying the products.”

What I found that’s encouraging

  • Q2 2026 revenue hit $9.5 million, up 37% year over year, and Zomedica’s 22nd consecutive quarter of year-over-year revenue growth. The net loss also fell 49% to $3.8 million.
  • Diagnostics revenue jumped 77% in Q2, while consumables increased 26% to $6.6 million. That’s important because recurring consumables can become a much more valuable revenue stream than one-time equipment sales.
  • Zomedica just announced a Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Canada collaboration to expand TRUFORMA testing among equine veterinarians. The program includes no-cost TRUFORMA placements and cartridges for eligible customers, potentially expanding the installed base.
  • Zomedica says its Assisi products have treated more than 50,000 pets, and its product portfolio includes PulseVet, Assisi, TRUFORMA, TRUVIEW and VetGuardian.
  • The company is also specifically focusing on international distributors, with its August 28 investor presentation devoted to expansion across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas.

🐕 The part I’d watch closely

If by “pet shops” you mean regular pet stores—not veterinary clinics—that’s an important distinction. Zomedica’s core commercial model is still heavily veterinary/practice focused, rather than being primarily a PetSmart/Petco-style retail business.

But if you’re seeing pet retailers, distributors, veterinary practices and pet owners increasingly carrying/using Zomedica products, that could become a meaningful catalyst.

The numbers are beginning to back up the story: $8.8M revenue in Q1 → $9.5M in Q2, with losses shrinking substantially.

And there’s another potentially important catalyst coming: Zomedica’s August 28 “Fourth Friday at Four” webinar is specifically about its global distributor network and international expansion.

If you’re considering buying Disney, I’d use a staged approach rather than putting everything in at once:

  • 25% around the current ~$107 area
  • 25% if DIS breaks and holds $112
  • 25% on a pullback toward $100–103
  • 25% only after a convincing move above $120

That keeps you from chasing the stock after a D23-driven rally while still giving you exposure if Disney starts a bigger breakout.

For a $25,000 position, that would be $6,250 per entry.

I’d also keep an eye on Disney’s next earnings report, parks attendance/spending, streaming profitability, and whether the new D23 projects translate into higher future revenue—not just exciting announcements.

I checked the latest DIS data for August 17, 2026.

🎯 My DIS levels right now

  • Latest close: $106.85 on Aug. 14.
  • Current area: roughly $107
  • 52-week high: $119.78.
  • Analyst average target: about $128.61, with a high target of $151.

🚀 The level I’d watch

$110–$112 is the first important breakout zone.

If DIS can push through $112 on strong volume and hold it, I’d view that as a much more convincing technical breakout.

Then I’d watch:

$115 → $120 → $128–130

The $119–120 area is particularly important because that’s near the existing 52-week high.

🟢 What makes this more interesting

Institutional buying is showing up. Diamond Hill bought about 2.34 million DIS shares, worth roughly $225 million, during Q2. Plato Investment Management also initiated about 79,394 shares worth roughly $7.6 million.

That doesn’t guarantee DIS goes higher, but combined with Disney’s enormous parks expansion pipeline, it’s something I’d pay attention to.

My take: I would not chase DIS simply because of D23. I’d rather see it break $112 with noticeably stronger volume. If that happens, the setup becomes considerably more attractive.

If you’re thinking about putting $5,000, $10,000, or $25,000 into DIS,  I can calculate exactly how I’d stage the purchases at $107, $112, $120 and $128.

Charles Doheny DIS 2 months ago #6

important thing is that D23 didn’t just announce rides—it demonstrated that Disney has a multi-year pipeline for monetizing its intellectual property through parks, hotels, merchandise and experiences.

And that’s coming at a good time: Disney’s stock had already responded positively to its Q3 results, with reports noting a roughly 6.6% post-earnings rise.

🎯 What I’d watch next

For DIS, I’d pay especially close attention to $100–$105 as the area where the market is currently deciding whether this is a temporary rally or the beginning of a larger trend.

If you want, I can  pull up DIS’s current August 17 chart, today’s price/volume, institutional buying, analyst targets, and identify the exact breakout price I’d watch before buying.

Charles Doheny DIS 2 months ago #7

Absolutely. For Disney stock (DIS), I think the 2026 D23 announcements are genuinely bullish—but more for the next 2–5 years than as an immediate one-day catalyst.

📈 Why D23 is bullish for DIS

  1. Disney’s Parks business is already accelerating.
Disney’s Q3 FY2026 Experiences segment generated nearly $10 billion in revenue, up about 10%, while Disney also beat earnings expectations.

  2. D23 showed Disney is building a huge pipeline of future attractions.
    The announcements include:

  • Villains Land at Magic Kingdom
  • Piston Peak/Cars expansion
  • Monsters, Inc. land coming in 2027
  • Indiana Jones + Encanto at Animal Kingdom
  • Avengers Campus doubling in size at Disneyland
  • New international attractions

Disney says the Villains project is intended to be one of its most ambitious lands yet.

  1. Avengers is particularly interesting.
Disneyland’s Avengers Campus is expected to roughly double in size by 2028, with Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab, including returning MCU actors.
