I would not infer too much from the Keytruda trials. I doubt the drug has much efficacy for H&N cancer. If so, the indication would have been established long ago. I suspect this is big pharma manipulation trying to extend their patent or broaden their indications. Keytruda is an established drug and would have been tried as salvage therapy long ago. Would not have taken years for indication had those results shown significant promise. I have not studied the Keytruda trials but I will get MK sowed far more efficacy with NO TOXICITY. Better management would have gotten approval long ago.
Goal of reverse split was to marginalize the largest shareholder base - the retail investor. Approval would have brought a $150 share price. Does that mean CVM will now bring $4500/s? Of course not. Company is now much cheaper for an acquirer. A buyout at $40/s should bring a class action lawsuit.
Geert has F*d us all. Investors that held thousands of shares with potential life changing ROI now have just a few hundred shares that if successful may buy a new car. I do not understand how the Board has allowed this to happen. If there is any approval or sale, I hope lawyers come out of the woodwork to ensure Geert walks away with NOTHING. Approval for a non toxic novel CA treatment should have been a chip shot. He is as inept (or dirty) as the day is long
Keytruda’s H&N indication is a window into why MK has not moved forward. No doubt Merck exerted some pressure on the FDA. Despite Keytruda having far greater toxicity than MK (and likely no better efficacy) - Merck gets the approval that CVM has been seeking. Geert could not have gotten penicillin approved. The reverse split has made acquisition far cheaper and more likely as there are now far fewer shares in play. I hope when the acquisition occurs there is a shareholder lawsuit and Geert ends up in leg irons
If there is positive news and the stock pops, will that pop be 30x bigger than it would have been before the reverse split? I think not. All that split did was screw the retail investors that have been long term holders. Geert belongs in jail.
I will repeat- do not think that the FDA is in the healing business - they are in the money business. Look no farther than Keytruda trying to get a H&N indication as to why MK approval is nowhere in sight. These people approved a poorly tested COVID vaccine for a patient population that was at far more risk of a vaccine complication than a serious problem from COVID. If they can be bought off to place HEALTHY people at risk, don’t think they are worried about CANCER. Patients.
Before the split this was a $150 stock with FDA approval. Does anyone think that would make it a $4000 stock now?
All the reverse split did was screw the retail investors. How has this inept (corrupt?) CEO Geert survived this long?
Imagine a CEO with a novel cancer treatment with positive results and ZERO toxicity. And somehow that CEO cannot get approval or even a partnership. The company looks to heading toward bankruptcy. Why does he still have a job? Where are the lawsuits? This is all very weird. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would think nobody wants MK to exist.
What is needed here is a class action lawsuit to get rid of Geert and call attention to the prospects of MK
If you want to understand why MK has not been approved- at leadt not by CVM - read the story of this man and listen to his long, comprehensive interview with Tucker

Big pharma pays the salaries of the FDA.
Small biotech goes to the back of the line and gets slow walked to drain their resources and make them takeover candidates so big pharma can protect their franchises
