CC stock is a buy right now. The downgrade from Moody’s is based off the lawsuits that carried over from Dupont, when they spun that segment of the business off & named it “Chemours”. The issue they faced after that was when Supreme Court called them out on it and informed Dupont that they will not be washing their hands & writing off the legal responsibilities of their actions, like they were planning to do. So Dupont decided to sue, but this too will be rejected by the court and Dupont will pay for a large portion of the lawsuits they tried to “spin off” onto chemours. This is not going to impact chemours the way Moody’s thinks it will therefor their downgrade isn’t justified or being taken as so.

Reason for the crash is the latest quarterly report that was 30% below estimates, outlook is actually very good and now is the time to buy
