Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., d/b/a KKR, and Impilo's pharmaceutical company Immedica Pharma agreed to acquire Nasdaq-listed peer Marinus Pharmaceuticals, according to a Monday release.

Immedica Pharma's direct subsidiary will launch a cash tender offer of $0.55 per share for Marinus for an implied enterprise value of $151 million. The target's board unanimously approved and recommended the tender offer, which is subject to customary conditions, including the tender of at least a majority of Marinus' shares.

The transaction, expected to close in the first quarter of 2025, aims to bolster Immedica's global rare disease business through the addition of Ztalmy, a treatment for seizures associated with cyclin-dependent kinase-like 5 deficiency disorder in patients aged two and older.

As long it doesn’t drop after RS than your profit will be the same. It is true that in order for big investors to invest to another stock company. They must be over value of $5.
