Civitas Resources, Inc. (CIVI) operates as an independent energy producer, primarily engaged in the exploration, development, and extraction of oil and natural gas. Its core operations are concentrated in the Rocky Mountain region, with a significant focus on Colorado's Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin, particularly the Wattenberg Field. As of December 31, 2021, the company reported substantial proved reserves totaling 397.7 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBoe).
