Is criminal what this company did to its shareholders. I’ve never rooted against an American co. Until this one.
$CHK Why is this POS even allowed to trade and it jumped from $11 to $42 just like that. Utter BS!
CHK exited bankruptcy yesterday. Creditors agreed to eliminate 7 billion of their 9 billion in debt. CHK also managed to raise another 2.5 billion in new financing. They already laid off hundreds of employees, so now all they have to do is let their thousands of active wells do the work, minus those pesky interest payments on 9 billion. They should have positive cashflow in no time at all. CHK is now in a better position than many of their competitors.
