NUBURU (NYSE American: BURU) and Tekne are working together in the military and defense industry, and there is substantial business activity behind this partnership.

My investment opinion
BURU has a more substantial defense-business foundation now that Tekne is part of its operations. That is a meaningful development for the investment story.
However, the biggest thing to watch is whether BURU converts military orders into:
Actual reported revenue.
Positive gross profit.
Positive operating cash flow.
Sustainable profitability without excessive share dilution.
The military contracts alone do not guarantee that BURU shareholders will profit.
I would pay particular attention to its next earnings report and contract execution u

What is happening between BURU and Tekne?
According to NUBURU's announcements:
October 15, 2026: NUBURU completed its acquisition of a 70% controlling interest in Tekne.
Military vehicles: Tekne manufactures specialized military and tactical vehicles.
Electronic warfare: Tekne works on electronic warfare integration and defense systems.
Drone defense: BURU is pursuing counter-drone and electronic warfare technologies.
Military contracts: Tekne has existing government and defense-related programs, while BURU is building opportunities to distribute and execute defense projects internationally.
The important military contract news for BURU
Tekne has a reported $17.1 million special-vehicle contract with an Italian public-sector customer, announced October 21, 2026. This is real contracted business, not simply a potential opportunity.
Other important developments:
$135.4 million net remaining order value: reported by NUBURU in September 2026. This represents remaining order value, not all revenue already earned.
Military expansion: NUBURU is pursuing U.S. military, NATO, and allied defense markets through Tekne and Maddox Defense.
Counter-drone technology: NUBURU is developing defense offerings, but some opportunities remain proposals or development projects rather than awarded contracts.

The biggest problem: dilution
This is where I would be especially careful.
NUBURU's October 2026 SEC prospectus disclosed:
10.51 million shares outstanding as of September 29.
Up to 20 million shares registered for resale.
Approximately 76.48 million additional shares potentially issuable through Series B preferred conversions.
Additional warrants and convertible securities.
That means the share count could increase dramatically, potentially reducing the value of each existing share.
My bottom line
BURU could produce enormous percentage gains if its defense transformation succeeds, but dilution and financial risk make it a dangerous investment.
I would personally want to see actual revenue growth from Tekne and confirmed defense contracts before becoming bullish.
The next major thing to watch is whether NUBURU can turn its defense acquisitions into meaningful revenue and cash flow without continually issuing shares.
