$BAC welp…another stock that is 20% off the high for whatever reason the media says. Seems weekly another 2-3 companies are entering the bear market. 70% of stocks in the SP500 are now in bear markets…of not down more than 35%.

BAC — Treasury just hit Bank of America with a $1.21B enforcement package after the close. Willful AML/BSA violations: $1.2B FinCEN fine (3rd largest in Treasury history), $750M OCC penalty (largest in OCC's 163-year history, credited toward the total), $11.6M OFAC sanctions settlement. The bank admitted it — failed to file SARs on $5B+ in suspicious transactions.
No asset cap imposed, but this lands the day before Q3 earnings tomorrow morning. That print just got a lot more interesting.
