Futures go on rampage. This will be an interesting trading day

Potential for AMD is massive. Intel is like giving up at CES. The problem with that for Intel is that AMD is building a significant boost for their Ryzen brand. Intel shouldnt expect that everybody is hopping back to them once they release new CPUs.
Therefore I see huge advantages for AMD at least for the next 12 months to further gain market share in all areas

So Intel at CES was lackluster. No new chips before summer. Gives AMD enough time to develop their next gen chips to beat Intel again.
AMD has no competition in mobile, desktop and server for the next 6 months.. Wow!!

Andre Bee AMD 6 years ago #7674

The key thing they showed were the mobile processors. They lead in server and desktop already so the next attack is mobile. Makes sense

Just imagine the millions of processors they sold to Microsoft and Sony for next gen consoles

That must be roughly 20M units just for the launch of those consoles. Nowadays gaming is so popular there will be a shortage of the next gen consoles this christmas

German IT website Heise says that Intel has no competitive product to show in the mobile segment to compete with AMDs 8C

Cool products but we need to see them in the market and how they are performing

Wasnt the keynote not just scheduled for 45 minutes?

I want a Dell XPS 13 with the new Ryzen 4000

Its really hard to sell CPUs in a presentation.
We actually would need official benchmarks in it from third parties
