Recent research indicated:

Bharat Biotech makes an “indigenous” vaccine called COVAXIN.

(NOT to be confused with Covishield)

“INDIGENOUS” means that it ‘occurs naturally.’

Why is this important?

Because rather than bypassing strengthening your own immune system, like some “other” vaccines have been found to do;

Further research on vaccines indicated that may current vaccines use Chimpanzees to create the vaccine, so that makes them different than the “INDIGENOUS” vaccine that Bharat Biotech is manufacturing.

For me, I would rather wait to be vaccinated until the indigenous vaccine by Bharat Biotech is brought to market by Ocugen, Inc. because to me, a vaccine that uses naturally occurring materials that strengthens my own immune system and assists my body’s immune system to recognize new strains and mutations of the virus, while also working against the current strain, just makes more sense and seems the safer way.

Currently, COVAXIN is unavailable in the United States. But with the regulatory approval discussed above, this could change soon and be huge for OCGN once people begin to realize what makes COVAXIN different from other vaccines.

My opinion is that you should always do your own DD, and consider the idea that before making medical decisions based on internet information, to consult the advice of a qualified medical professional you trust.
