Shorts are buying to cover and driving up market today, take profits before end of day, tax selling is about to begin snd I fear institutional selling is going to bring out new lows

Elon warned that stock price would radically fluctuate until deal closed. He knew discovery of details would be exposed and that public would see beyond their veil. However, I believe he is still committed to buying and has to pay 1 bil if he backs out of deal. I’m still buying!
If Elon is paying 54$ share when purchase completes and stock is at 50$ share doesn’t every shareholder ean 4$ share if they hold till this goes private? Easy Money unless I’m missing something?
