Exactly my thoughts. Going from losing .11 cents per share to a .14 per share profit is a huge step.
Call starts in 20 minutes, and Guidance will determine whether she runs or not.
I think Shorts may take another bite if it does run over $2.50 area.
Either way it sets up for a great play for next Quarter. I’ll start slowly reloading if it drops under $2 again.
Edit to add:
Even with missing on earnings, that’s a huge increase from the -.11 per share loss from the previous Quarter. This might take another few months to run hard, but it’s still alive.
Will start adding under $2
Watching SOC next, loading under $1.90 on SOC. Heavily shorted and Earnings on Monday
I was regretting selling those 6200 shares yesterday at $2.28. Glad I did now. Missed earnings will send this back under $2, even if only briefly. Will buy 5k shares at $1.92 if it makes it there. If not then on to the next play…
Entered the day with 8200 shares at $1.92 avg. Just sold 4k at $2.28. Secured a $2200 profit.
Holding the other 2k through Earnings.
I really want to believe it’s gonna run, but the Estimated Earnings at +.22 per share is massively higher than the -.11 per share that was last quarters realized #.
Hope I’m wrong and it runs over $5
Good luck to everyone.
Check out SOC, could legit be the next big play.
When y’all rake in these profits, check out SOC, Ticking time bomb!
HTZ and EOSE looking good for earnings. Going to take a position in SOC next.
Previous Quarter was estimated to come in at -.23 cents per share, came in at -.11 cents per share.
This Quarter estimates are +.22 per share…
That would be an absolute massive increase in profits.
If it meets or exceeds that estimate, it will move up hard, possibly $5+ range.
If it misses, it’s back to $1.50 area.
Earnings are Nov 5th, in PreMarket.
So wherever you think it’s going, have your position set by close tomorrow.
Put some limit buys at $1.98 and $1.92
The CTB (Cost To Borrow) is for the CURRENT AVAILABLE SHARES THEY ARE TRYING TO LEND. You morons that think these Hedge Funds are having to pay that are insanely ignorant.
They borrow the initial shares
They dump them and cause the stock to drop
They then BUY CALLS 6 months to a year or more out, because they are insanely cheap due to said stock dumping. Thus, they are already covered on shares, there is no shortage because they have already locked up what they needed by buying the Options of everyone selling them (they control your stock),
As the price starts to run back up, so does the value of those Options they hold.
The only shorts that will get burned are the small single traders that don’t know what the hell they are doing. Hedge Funds learned their lessons from the GameStop/AMC play.
If y’all spent half the time actually educating yourself on how the process works, instead of posting rockets and misinformation on here, you’d be a much better trader.
The Shorts who have their position in this aren’t in at those high-borrow rates, those rates are for the shares available to borrow currently. The only ones borrowing those are the little guys.
This is being daytraded daily, which is why you get the dips throughout the day. Load up on the dips, sell in premarket. Rinse and repeat.
