Limbach stock jumps 19% after-hours Tuesday after record third-quarter revenue and a high-end outlook.
Limbach Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: LMB) shares rose 19.10% to $59.46 in after-hours trading Tuesday after the company reported third-quarter 2026 results, with record revenue up 24.9% to $230.5 million and full-year revenue and adjusted EBITDA expected at or near the high end of guidance.
Limbach provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building control systems for owners and operators of facilities where these systems are critical to daily operations.
Limbach Reports Third-Quarter Results
Revenue rose from $184.6 million in the same quarter last year. Net income was $9.5 million, or $0.79 per diluted share, compared with $8.8 million, or $0.73 per diluted share, a year earlier.
Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, rose 25.9% to a record $27.4 million. Total gross profit increased 20.5% to $53.8 million, while gross margin was 23.4% compared with 24.2% a year earlier. The company said the margin reflected a higher share of revenue from its General Contractor Relationships segment, which typically carries lower margins, and two recently acquired businesses.
"Our third-quarter results reflect improving customer activity and a return to organic growth in our owner-direct business," said President and CEO Michael McCann. He added that the company believes "some of the project timing issues we discussed earlier this year are beginning to ease."
Guidance and Acquisitions
Limbach’s full-year 2026 guidance calls for revenue of $760 million to $790 million and adjusted EBITDA of $78 million to $84 million. The company said it expects both to be at or near the high end of those ranges.
Limbach completed two acquisitions during the quarter, CYMCOR, Inc. and 1901 Inc. McCann said they broaden the company’s geographic reach and technical expertise, adding opportunities in data centers, life sciences and advanced manufacturing. Limbach will hold a conference call Wednesday at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.
