Ark bought Palantir across five funds after GOOG reported its first $2 billion revenue quarter. The fund sold Alphabet and CrowdStrike shares.

On Tuesday, Cathie Wood-led Ark Invest bought approximately $11.2 million worth of Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:PLTR) shares across five funds and sold approximately $1.7 million worth of CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) shares.

The Palantir Trade

Ark bought 63,638 Palantir shares: 4,291 through ARK Blockchain & Fintech Innovation ETF (BATS:ARKF), 35,346 through ARK Innovation ETF (BATS:ARKK), 10,309 through ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF (BATS:ARKQ), 9,613 through ARK Next Generation Technology ETF (BATS:ARKW) and 4,079 through ARK Space & Defense Innovation ETF (BATS:ARKX). The purchase was worth approximately $11.2 million based on Tuesday’s closing price of $175.40.

The purchase followed several Palantir sales in October. Ark sold 49,333 shares across three consecutive sessions from Oct. 19 through Oct. 21, with an estimated combined value of $9.6 million based on those sessions’ closing prices.

Palantir posted its first $2 billion revenue quarter. The results split Wall Street as revenue surged while bookings cooled.

The CrowdStrike Trade

Ark sold 6,901 CrowdStrike shares through ARKF, a trade worth approximately $1.7 million based on Tuesday’s closing price of $244.68.

Recent coverage focused on CrowdStrike’s opportunity in securing AI agents. An analyst also argued that the company’s AI opportunity could be larger than Wall Street expects.

Alphabet Class C Trade

Ark sold 12,530 Class C shares of Alphabet through ARKQ. The trade was valued at about $3.5 million, based on the stock closing at $278.27.

Alphabet shares plunged and wiped out approximately $511 billion in market value in their worst session on record on Oct. 29, after third-quarter revenue of $127.6 billion and EPS of $2.12 missed Wall Street estimates despite Google Cloud revenue doubling to $30.7 billion. Capital expenditures more than doubled to $51.4 billion, pushing free cash flow to negative $9.1 billion for a second consecutive quarter, while the company warned of significantly higher spending in 2027.
