XPeng (NYSE: XPEV) shares rose premarket after reporting record October deliveries of 50,237 EVs, up 20% year-over-year.

XPeng Inc. (NYSE:XPEV) stock traded higher in Monday’s premarket session after the Chinese electric vehicle maker reported record October deliveries, supported by strong overseas demand.

The company reported Saturday that it delivered 50,237 vehicles in October, up 20% year over year from 42,013 vehicles in October 2025.

Deliveries also jumped 21.8% from September’s 41,256 vehicles, marking a new monthly record for the company.

In contrast, Chinese EV rival NIO Inc. (NYSE:NIO) reported October deliveries of 34,246 vehicles, down 15.2% year over year and 8.5% from September.

Overseas Deliveries Surge 166%

XPeng’s overseas deliveries reached an all-time monthly high of 13,326 vehicles in October, representing a 166% increase from a year earlier.

International markets accounted for approximately 26.5% of the company’s total monthly deliveries.

The latest figures build on XPeng’s third-quarter performance, when deliveries reached 118,390 vehicles, up 15% from the previous quarter.

In September, the company’s L03 model recorded more than 10,000 deliveries.

New Model Launch and Robotaxi Expansion

XPeng also expanded its vehicle lineup with the October launch of the L05 in mainland China. Deliveries of the new model were scheduled to begin Nov. 1.

Meanwhile, the company secured a demonstration operation license on Oct. 26 to conduct Level 4 autonomous robotaxi services in Guangzhou.

The approval allows XPeng to move beyond technology testing toward real-world operations and commercial validation of its autonomous driving technology.

Level 4 autonomy allows vehicles to operate without human intervention under specified conditions.

Sustainability Recognition

XPeng also received MSCI’s highest AAA environmental, social and governance rating for the fourth consecutive year in October.

The company estimated that its electric vehicles delivered during the first 10 months of 2026 could reduce life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions by more than 5.77 million metric tons compared with conventional gasoline-powered vehicles.

XPEV Price Action: XPeng shares were up 4.76% at $9.47 during premarket trading on Monday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
