Ten stocks carry implied earnings moves above 10% next week, led by Moderna and AppLovin. Five are tech names hit in Friday's chip rout.

Wall Street ended October with a sell-off in chip stocks.

Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) lost over 40% of its value in October alone, its worst month since 1974, after weaker-than-expected guidance. More than 10 chip stocks fell by over 20% on the month, with Friday’s sell-off wiping out $1 trillion of market value across the sector.

A new week of earnings kicks off with the focus on tech mega caps. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) reports Nov. 2 after the close, Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) on Nov. 3 and Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ:QCOM) on Nov. 4, both after the close. AMD and Qualcomm each fell more than 11% on Friday.

Yet, the biggest expected swings are elsewhere. Ten stocks with a market cap of at least $25 billion are priced for moves above 10%, and five of them are tech names that fell between 8.3% and 13.7% on Friday, according to Benzinga Pro data.

An implied move is the percentage swing in either direction that options traders expect right after earnings.
