Hyperliquid jumps 13% as ICE and TradeXYZ plan regulated 24/7 perpetual futures for US retail traders.

Intercontinental Exchange (NASDAQ:ICE) on Thursday announced a partnership with TradeXYZ to use Hyperliquid to bring regulated perpetual futures to U.S. traders.

What the ICE and TradeXYZ Deal Actually Covers

Hyperliquid confirmed Hyperliquid as measured by Hyperliquid Strategies (NASDAQ:PURR) as the infrastructure layer for deploying U.S. perpetual futures markets across crypto, equities, commodities, foreign exchange and other real-world assets, pending regulatory approval.

Hyperliquid will provide the underlying technology through HIP-3, TradeXYZ will design and implement the markets, and ICE will operate the regulated market and clearing structure.

Intercontinental Exchange also posted on X that it will operate U.S. regulated versions of TradeXYZ’s existing markets, calling TradeXYZ the leading deployer of real-world-asset perpetuals on Hyperliquid.

The new venue runs separately from ICE’s institutional futures business and is designed specifically for retail participation, offering 24/7 trading across crypto, equities, indices, commodities and forex.

Users will access the platform through US-regulated futures commission merchants performing KYC and anti-money laundering screening, including ICE’s joint venture with OKX.

According to Degen News, ICE will serve as the "exclusive operator" of the new U.S. market built on Hyperliquid.

Why Druckenmiller Is Backing TradeXYZ

Legendary investor Stan Druckenmiller posted on X that he’s excited to be an investor in TradeXYZ as the company partners with ICE to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the U.S.

"As a market participant, I am looking forward to using their innovative product to enhance my investment process," Druckenmiller said.

ICE operates the New York Stock Exchange along with several of the largest exchanges and clearinghouses globally, giving the partnership significant regulatory credibility as it pursues approvals for the new retail-focused venue.

Where HYPE Stands Technically

HYPE broke above its descending channel and all four major EMAs Wednesday, also clearing the upper Bollinger Band near $87.50 in a move that signals strong momentum but a stretched short-term run.

Key levels for HYPE:

  • $89 to $90: immediate support zone
  • $95 to $98: next resistance zone if $92 breaks
