Jim Cramer favors Penguin Solutions for its low valuation after strong earnings and says investors should let Revolution Medicines run.
On CNBC’s “Mad Money Lightning Round,” Jim Cramer said Penguin Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:PENG) “sells at a low multiple, and I don’t mind a low-multiple tech stock because they tend not to get hurt as much as the others.”
On the earnings front, Penguin Solutions reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results on Oct. 6 and issued FY27 EPS guidance above estimates.
Penguin Solutions reported $566.69 million in fourth-quarter revenue, beating analyst estimates of $516.12 million, according to Benzinga Pro. Total revenue rose 68% year over year. The AI factory platform company posted fourth-quarter adjusted earnings of $1 per share, beating estimates of 78 cents per share.
When asked about Revolution Medicines, Inc. (NASDAQ:RVMD), he said, “I think you have to let it run.”
On Oct. 20, Revolution Medicines announced that it has begun treating patients in its global Phase 3 clinical study, RASolve 308, to evaluate a combination treatment for metastatic lung cancer. The trial tests the company’s investigational therapy, zoldonrasib, alongside standard care as a first-line treatment for adults with non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer harboring the RAS G12D mutation.
