Oleg<- You are an immoral individual. You are telling an outright LIE about common shares being wiped. That is a complete FALSEHOOD:
*

First off, they have not confirmed bankruptcy. What they have confirmed is a reduction of debt. And, their website has new mall job postings. Per their filings, it is business as usual at CBL.

In their filings, they state, in the event of C11, if shareholders approved, they are guaranteed up to 110% of share price (at that point, whatever that share price may be). BUT, doesnt look as though DIP is required . Hence, Chapter 11 is not required.

Furthermore, it is that Brookfield has taken an acquisition interest in CBL. They have recently completed FIVE such buyouts.

A study by the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business finds that shares of public real estate companies have behaved like small cap value stocks for much of the past decade and, as such, have tended to trade at premiums to NAV when market senti-ment favors value stocks and at discounts to NAV when market sentiment favors growth stocks.

Currently, market is setting up for a shift to value investing. Most popular growth stocks are overbought and overvalued. With volatility on the rise, you can expect investors to shift to portfolios to a core value strategy, which includes REITs.
