They actually think, if they TRY hard enough, they can push this down and hold it there. But, there is a little problem with that theory. Volume here yesterday was just 3M shy of the volume on Microsoft. That is a LOT of BULL POWER. Most likely, what you will SOON see here is a MAJOR SQUEEZE.
Bull trap? Not quite
This is a short trap. Every time a short dumps, he or she starts to sweat a little more, and for very good reason. CBL said -IF they file c11, not when-. And, that was prior to the $34M interest payment. That is not something a company does, if they TRULY intend to file c11. Hence, there will be no c11. Shorts SHOULD be worried.

Given there were MULTIPLE 411 PRINTS yesterday, and, we are past restructuring and the OCT 1 release, any news NOW would have to be related to an upcoming MERGER or ACQUISITION. ;)

Does not sound like a bankrupt company to me. And, with no need for DIP financing, there is no need for chspter 11.
