Iger is like the captain of the Titanic heading for the iceberg. Running the company in the worst possible direction (abandoning traditional family values) and running the risk of people not bringing their kids to Disneyland anymore. Ticket sales are so bad they’re currently offering 3 parks days for the price of 2!
-
ESPN will cost another $5 billion over the next couple years and continue to be a drag on Disney Stock. Why? If we had a shareholder vote we’d vote to get rid of it. Disney has bit off more than they can chew with the ginormous purchase of FOX studio assets and controlling stake in HULU. Still $50+ billion in debt and they want to spend more on parks at a time where they’re having to discount ticket prices?! ️️️️️️️
Complete morons! -
Nobody believes in Iger’s plan. After each announcement comes another wave down in the stock. How about this idea, use the $8 billion planned for park expansion to pay off debt and buy more Disney Stock!! Meanwhile, sell the money out otherwise known as ESPN for another $8 billion to buy more stock back and increase the dividend.
-
Disney’s over spending is a terrible plan. They thought the stock would erupt when announcing the plan to expand parks….shows how out of touch the board is.
Mr Peltz, please come back and save Disney?! I promise we’ll fire Iger and get rid of ABC and ESPN! If so we’d be off to the races! -
Iger and the board need to go NOW. This marks 3 quarters in a row that Iger couldn’t deliver on promises to shareholders to win the vote against Peltz. Absolutely inexcusable! There must be accountability when the company has a lower stock price compared to a DECADE ago!
-
I feel like the biggest moron in the market owning Disney and believing in Iger’s bs for 3 years.
Every stock has tripled in the last 3 years and Disney is LESS than it was in 2014️️️
The parks are offering 3 day-park passes for the price of 2. That’s desperation.
Iger is the WORST and worked tirelessly to get rid of Peltz. Biggest mistake of all time -
Iger is the worst. We had all the momentum with Peltz going from $80 to $124 then straight down after he was voted out. Iger made so many promises to shareholders in order to keep him out of the board when it turns out he was 100% right. Now He should be the one voted out….the board has been complicit and shareholders need accountability with over-spending….just like the current administration does. Get Biden/harris the fuck out. Their spending is purposely done so we end up in a socialist society. Enough is enough! We need to clean house!

Iger needs to go. The board needs to be fired. Peltz did his best then Iger fought him off sorry so many lies about a brighter future. What happened?!!!
Iger promised the moon and the stars for 3 straight quarters and the stock has gone down for 3 years straight! The buyback has made zero difference. They’re spending too much and plan for espn has been awful! -
