Compared to mutual funds, actively managed ETFs have inherent advantages like transparency, low-cost and intraday liquidity.
These are drawing the attention of many companies as they are launching funds. Companies like Putnam Investments (NYSE: PCF), T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TROW), Vanguard (NYSE: VWO), PIMCO (NYSE: PHK) and BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE: BLK) iShares are set to launch a number of actively managed ETFs.
