Portillo's (NASDAQ:PTLO), the fast-casual restaurant concept known for its menu of Chicago-style favorites, today announced a leadership transition within its Board of Directors. The Board has appointed Eugene I. Lee, Jr., a respected veteran of the restaurant industry and award-winning foodservice leader, as Chairman of the Board, effective immediately. Lee succeeds Michael A. Miles, Jr., who will retire after leading the Company's Board of Directors since 2014, where he helped transition Portillo's from a founder-led company to a public company.
