Looking for a stock or ETF that can give you dividend stability, but also some upside with the market? Maybe you want to put your money into the hurt financials, but are afraid to pick one? This is where the Powershares Financial Preferred (NYSE:PGF) comes in.
This ETF may give you the best chance to own a diversified financial portfolio with the lowest cost. The Powershares Financial Preferred owns a diversified portfolio of preferred stock in US and International financial companies. Currently the PGF has a yield of 8.59%, which it distributes 1/12th of every month. The total expense ratio is 0.68%, which is a small cost for a diversified ETF.
I believe the PGF added to any portfolio will give stability and regular income that can be used to reinvest in the ETF. The PGF isn’t very volatile, so look to start building a position now that it is 4% below its 52 week high.
