Blackberry is not allowed to be bought out by any company outside of Canada. Check Canada's laws on this. Their government does not allow takeover's of Canadian companies from buyers outside of their country. It has something to do with trade secrets.

$BB Naked Short-Selling is illegal and the SEC is finally bringing charges against those who participate.
On May 19, 2021, the Securities and Exchange Commission charged broker-dealer BTIG, LLC with Naked Short-Selling by repeatedly violating the order-marking and locate provisions of Regulation SHO, which regulates the short-selling of securities.

SEC is going after naked short-selling.
In one prominent case, an SEC administrative law judge ordered optionsXpress - now owned by Charles Schwab - its former chief financial officer and a customer to pay $4.8 million in fines and return $4.2 million in connection with alleged illegal short-selling.
The SEC also charged the Chicago Board Options Exchange with failing to police for short-selling abuses in connection with the optionsXpress matter, and the exchange agreed to pay a $6 million penalty.

$BB You guys are a bunch of losers if you are selling right now. This isn't even close to its plateau. Everybody panics and becomes a little pu$$y Every time he shares go up a couple dollars

$BB Why are people selling at this low price. That just boggles my mind.

Why are people selling at this low price. I don't get it.

$BB There is no reason to believe EPS will improve anytime soon. Also no indication as to whether or not there is a settlement for the Facebook lawsuit. There was an agreement but never a settlement mentioned. "Agreement" can mean anything. Seems to me blackberry needs to get their operating expenses under control. They have decent revenue just no profit. Definitely need a management shake up which they have already started. Sale of patents can help but that could be years away. There is no indication that that will happen anytime soon either.

$BB I've heard a lot of talk about the BlackBerry/Facebook settlement but how do we know BB will benefit from this? It just says theres an agreement between the two companies. Also didn't Facebook countersue blackberry during this process? Not sure why everyone thinks BB stock will go to the moon as a result of their confidential agreement that no one is (or can) talk about.
