This guy just argued that holding mortgage loans is good when rates go up. LOL. Sorry, debt instruments fall in value when rates rise. A mortgage is a debt and if rates rise and it stays on the books they are locked in at 3% when inflation is running higher they are losing money in real terms. “Locked in revenue stream”....of negative inflation-adjusted returns.
