$DHR who cares about Cramer….DHR is a powerfully built money machine. I am not a financial advisor, I am not a money whiz, I am not anything to do with investing peoples money….what I was? I was a Director at DHR for 8 years. I know them inside and out. I know what Culp is doing with GE.
If you want true wealth, then you buy and hold this ….now is a great time to buy. Just compare DHR to the SP500 for the last 20 years….each year…go ahead….all DHR companies hold the mantra of “we provide value to our shareholders” as their most important task. I worked with the smartest people in my entire career (40 yrs) when I was there. Took those lessons elsewhere and into different environments…..and we flourished!
If you day trade, then you wont care about what I just said. If you want to boost your portfolio returns, add DHR….like someone said below….play ETF’s add DHR to outperform the market.
Now, get ready to climb into earnings next week!! All aboard!
$DHR next week will show everyone once again that regardless of economic times, this beast will grind right through it and deliver top notch results…..year after year after year…..for the past 22 years…with no end in site…simply based on their business process and mindset. Shareholders are first. The wise and the wealthy buy this on dips and hold forever……this is a huge dip.
$DHR same setup as last July. Numbers blowout announced in June, then at earnings in July. Price action went straight up. This is 330 by spring ( at the latest, could be Feb.) and 375-400 EOY. This will run up nicely from now to earnings.
$DHR great buying opps here. Earnings will be solid once again, and the stock will return its typical 20%+ and potentially more. EOY will be 375-400 How can I be so sure? The business fundamentals are excellent, nothing has changed, and DHR management drives shareholder value. Its their core philosophy. I know. I was a Director there for 8 years. If the entire market drops, watch for DHR to accelerate purchases of other companies to add to their platforms.
Just a reminder, as a former “insider” when we were issues options, we had a limited time to exercise them or lose them. Thats what we are seeing. All these people were given options at the same time (normal) and with the same expiration date. Typically I always held to the expiration date, then sold.
The GE spin offs is exactly what DHR did a few years back. They put their lower growth basket of companies ( profitable and stable) into one company and placed medical, industrial production line support into the current DHR platform. Both cash cows. Medical has the high growth rate.
Next step would be for GE once split, to start adding companies through acquisition onto their new platforms. Exactly what DHR does. The platform I was in went from $300m to over $1B in size in just a few years.
Both have superb leadership, world class business models and practices and stable industries they play in. I wouldn’t bet against either. Put them both in your portfolio and sleep well very night. If they fail, you have much more important things to be concerned about!
DHR consistently returns 20% per year or more over 40 years. GE will get there as long as Larry Culp remains in control.
Expect DHR to increase 8-12% from close today, by mid December.
